Local Flour Share
This fall we will be offering our second annual grain share for those in a drivable radius (sorry if you’re far away, but shipping would be a bear!). This is a terrific way to get larger amounts of flour, in bulk.
Somewhere in the vicinity of 2007, we followed the lead of the agricultural CSA movement and created one of the earliest bread shares in Vermont! Subscribers paid upfront for 10 weeks of freshly baked, wood-fired Artisan bread that we delivered weekly to local drop off points in neighboring towns. The CSA model took the gamble out of baking and dropping loaves of bread at a store; hoping that a customer would come looking that day.
Fast forward to present times. We’re once again pulling the successful model out of our back pocket. Introducing the Gristmill Single-Shot Local Flour Share. Stock your pantry for the winter!
Sign up for a share and receive freshly milled flour and pancake mix in October and/or November 2024.
