FEEDING THE

COMMUNITY

Pizza in the Meadow!
Everyone Eats!
Farm to Table dinners!

Over the years we’ve done a lot of baking for a lot of folks.

Here are a few of our favorites:

Pizza Night!  When the pandemic closed the world down, we got to know our local community in a very hands on way by creating a weekly pizza in the meadow event complete with live music, picnic blankets and kids running on haybales; a community gathering that brought us all together at a challenging time.  Partnering with our buddies at Slate Valley Trails and Analog Cycles we hosted the ever popular  “Bike To Pizza Night”welcoming riders of all abilities to the meadow.

We also rolled up our sleeves and used our wood-fired oven in a completely new way, creating meals to go for the statewide Everyone Eats program, baking literally hundreds of meals weekly for people affected by the global pandemic.VFFC, the Vermont Farmers Food Center coordinated multiple farm, restaurants and food producers to feed hundreds of people in need.

And one of our local favorite gatherings?  The East Poultney Farm to Table dinner!  Started by Carol Stierle, Sheryl Porrier, and Chef Andy, the dinner is a "homage to local" creating a feast for 100 on the East Poultney Town Green, annually, twice a summer.  We’ve been there every year providing baskets of rolls and centerpiece loaves!
