If it’s not fun, why do it?

We started Naga Bakehouse as a way to make a living while being available for our kids and our friends.

Perpetually inspired by Bread and Puppet and the idea of food and art for the people, we travelled to Glover every year to take in the imagery.

Figuring out a way to put the pieces together, we stumbled upon Alan Scott, baker and oven builder extraordinaire

and a vision was born...

We were broke at the beginning and created a thriving business from sheer will and determination.  Our kids were along for the ride and spent many a weekend elbow deep in flour.

As the years rolled on, we became a well oiled machine, sharing responsibilities in all aspects of the Naga Bakehouse operation.

As you might expect, it’s been a busy life filled with joy, hard work, bad weather, early mornings, late nights, challenges and stick-to-it-ive-ness and an overall wild ride!
